On November 22nd, AspenWSI facilitated a webinar for workforce development and career pathways professionals in Iowa as part of the state’s new career pathways initiative. The webinar, Career Pathways: Experiences from the Field, provides an overview of the sector approach and career pathways strategies. Participants heard about the process for designing effective pathways, the role of businesses and employers in pathway development and how to engage these stakeholders in the process, as well as innovations in curriculum, support services and more. Presenters on the webinar brought a wealth of experiences in designing and implementing career pathways, sharing their experiences, challenges and successes.
