The National College Transition Network at World Education, Inc. will hold its 10th annual national conference on Effective Transitions in Adult Education on November 14 – 16, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza at the Crossings, Providence (Warwick), RI. Our conference is taking place in a time of great change and opportunity in the adult education field. The conference is designed with this significant transition of the adult education community in view.
The Effective Transitions Conference is held every year and is geared towards adult education, workforce development, and postsecondary educators, advisers, and administrators. Workshop themes include foundational skills, acceleration strategies, career pathways and workforce development, collaborations and partnerships, college and career readiness standards, English for Speakers of Other Languages, correctional education, advising and comprehensive support services, and technology integration.
Addressing Growing Economic Inequality: Making a Difference in Learners’ Lives
The NCTN Policy Panel during the 10th Effective Transitions in Adult Education Conference will bring the conference participants and three esteemed panelists into the conversation about adult education and economic inequality. Details.
